Swim lessons update

This is a bit late since swimming lessons ended on June 12, but we've been dealing with sick kids, and trying to prepare for our family trip to Yellowstone. Everyone did very well in their lessons.

Anne ended up moving up to the next class after about 3 lessons, and did well in her new group. Anne even took the final leg of a team realy race on the last day and helped her team win.

Abbey's swimming is coming right along. Her class also had races, and this was her leg of the race. She's on the left.

Olivia got a bit more brave and actually would "swim" without holding on to her teacher. She even reminded her teacher to let go of her.

And Jane decided that swimming was pretty fun when Mom jumped in with her. She now practices (she especially likes to make "splashy" kicks) in the bath tub.

She can (and will) put her face in the water, and even blow bubbles.

Anne and Abbey have enjoyed practicing their skills in Grandma's pool, Olivia is anxious to give it a try, and I think Jane may be excited to try it out as well!

Excellent job girls! Congrats Anne on winning the race. You all look great out there. I wish I could have Shannon teaching Eowyn, they don't do so much in her lessons at the Y, but she should be moving up a class next session so we'll see!
